It was also an opportunity to insist on the other two areas in which Nisida is active, trade effluent and food service establishments monitoring and environmental awareness raising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dialogue with the rest of the panel highlighted the importance of setting up a programme to monitor the effluents of restaurants and hotels in order to prevent the illegal dumping of organic residues, particularly oils and fats. Raffaele ha presentato i vantaggi ottenuti dalle aziende del servizio idrico integrato grazie all\u2019applicazione di tecnologie innovative per la gestione delle reti fognarie. \u00c8 stata l\u2019occasione anche per insistere sugli altri due settori in cui la Nisida \u00e8 attiva, il monitoraggio degli scarichi e la sensibilizzazione ambientale. Dialogando con il resto del panel, \u00e8 stata evindenziata l\u2019importanza di istituire un programma di controlli degli scarichi delle strutture ricettive al fine di evitare lo scarico illecito di residui organici, in particolare oli e grassi. Infine, \u00e8 stata sottolineata la centralit\u00e0 della sensibilizzazione degli utenti del servizio idrico, sia privati che commerciali, al fine di prevenire l\u2019utilizzo della rete fognaria per lo smaltimento di oli e grassi. Il problema dei FOG (acronimo di Grassi e Oli in inglese) \u00e8 quindi risolvibile tramite l\u2019implementazione combinata di tecnologie innovative, programmi di controllo efficienti e una costante sensibilizzazione degli utenti.
