Raffaele started his carreer in Brussels (BE) where he worked for several years in the EU Institutions and in public affairs, dealing with environmental legislation and EU funding programmes.
He decided to return to Italy to foster the implementation of innovative technologies in the field of wastewater treatment and after several commercial successes he founded Nisida Environment in February 2020. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology and Oceanography from the University of Southampton (UK) and a Master's degree in Environmental Management from the Université Libre in Brussels (BE). In addition to managing the company, Raffaele is responsible for its business development and for the preparation and implementation of European projects.
Rossella specialised in Molecular Biology with a Master's degree from the Federico II University of Naples. She continued her education by directing it towards scientific research and obtained a PhD in Pharmacology at the University of Salerno.
She was a Visiting Scientist at New York University in New York City in 2017. She then worked at the Telethon Institute and simultaneously started her own business in the Food & Beverage sector. She became a partner of Nisida Environment in June 2021 and now leads its environmental monitoring and consulting activities.
Vincenzo manages the accounting and financial aspects of Nisida Environment. He has more than a decade of experience in financial advisory and consulting of public and private companies, in particular innovative start-ups.
He is a member of the Association of European Project Managers and specialises in budgeting and financial reporting processes. Vincenzo graduated in Science of Public Administration from the Federico II University of Naples and then in Business Administration from the Parthenope University.
Ernesto has over 5 years of experience in the socio-environmental sector having worked with leading organisations such as UNDP, Oxfam, Conservation International and with innovative start-ups (ISHKAR and FutureVox).
He graduated in Economics and Political Science at Queen Mary University of London and in Photojournalism at the University of the Arts London (UK), he later specialised with a Master in International Development at ISPI in Milan (IT). For Nisida Ernesto coordinates all environmental communication and dissemination activities, in particular he is currently the communication manager for the LIFE SEDREMED project.
Andrea Ferrara is the operations supervisor of technical operators responsible for the use and management of equipment, the inspection of discharge systems, and the sampling of industrial wastewater.
