GORI Spa renews contract with Nisida Environment for industrial discharge monitoring
Ercolano, Italy - GORI Spa, the company responsible for managing the Integrated Water Service of the Sarnese Vesuvian District Area, has renewed its collaboration agreement with Nisida Environment for the monitoring and control of industrial discharges into public sewers.
The program, developed and implemented by Nisida Environment for GORI Spa, is part of the “Energie per il Sarno” initiatives, a series of actions aimed at overcoming the environmental crisis of the Sarno River basin. Thanks to this collaboration, GORI Spa will be able to intervene even more effectively during periods of intense industrial activity, such as the tomato processing campaign, increasing the frequency of inspections and ensuring greater protection of infrastructure, the environment, and public health.
In addition to environmental protection, the program also provides economic benefits by applying the "polluter pays" principle and complying with the provisions of ARERA resolution 665 (TICSI) for the proper accounting of discharged volumes. These objectives are achieved through:

The verification of the presence and functionality of discharge meters
